The best part of participating in the TSCA student exchange was getting to know my host families, and the friendships I developed with the Kashiwa students. My second host family and I grew so close that they came to visit me in Torrance the following Christmas! I highly recommend others to apply for this fantastic opportunity to experience Japanese culture first-hand. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience.
